Start with fondant smoothers, a non-stick rolling pin, sharp cutters, modeling tools, edible glue, brushes, measuring tools, texture tools, and a clean board setup.
Good tools support consistency, but they do not replace technique. A professional finish comes from pressure control, clean trimming, correct drying time, and knowing when to stop handling the fondant.
Students should understand why each tool exists: smoother surfaces, cleaner edges, better character shaping, controlled textures, and safer final presentation.
